Dubai IB DP Design Technology Training
What an incredible experience in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, attending the IB scheduled event and training passionate educators on the new IB DP Design Technology syllabus! From exploring the updated guide and Teacher Support Material (TSM) to analyzing specimen papers, every session was packed with insightful discussions and valuable takeaways.
Had an amazing time training 16 fantastic educators from across Europe at the MYP Design Workshop at Vienna International School this October! From hands-on activities to lively discussions, the focus was all about making learning fun, practical, and impactful.
Earlier in December 2023, I had the privilege of leading the MYP Category 2 Design Workshop in Berlin during the IB regional event. It was deeply gratifying to work with a diverse group of 20+ experienced educators from across Europe, sharing insights and learning together.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the privilege of leading a virtual MYP Category 1 cluster workshop for Design educators from Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy schools in Dartford, UK. Over two days, we engaged in reflective practice, collaborative learning, and stimulating discussions, fostering both professional growth and creativity.
What I find truly rewarding about these workshops is not only the opportunity to assist and inspire fellow educators but also the chance to reflect on my own teaching methods and classroom practices, making each session a mutually enriching experience.
I’m happy to share an amazing experience leading the MYP Design workshop for over 55 Design teachers from various schools under the Delhi Board of Secondary Education (DBSE). Through a mix of independent and collaborative sessions, we focused on building practical understanding and skills to effectively implement the IB programme across MYP classrooms.
It was truly exciting to be part of the IB–DBSE collaboration, supporting more than 30 MYP programmes and contributing to accessible education for public schools in Delhi. The DBSE group’s work ensures that children from diverse socio-economic backgrounds have meaningful opportunities to engage with quality education.
In Prague, I had the opportunity to lead a Teacher Professional Development Workshop, where I guided educators in understanding and implementing the latest syllabus changes in MYP CAT 2 Design. Through hands-on sessions and collaborative discussions, I helped teachers adapt their curriculum and teaching strategies, fostering innovative and student-centered learning in the classroom.
